DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Nominations are invited for the election of one student to join the School Board. The term of standing starts from Term 4 and will finish at the end of Term 3. \nThis role requires a dedicated and attentive student who must have the college’s best interests at heart. A high level of confidentiality is also a must. \nThis student will be required to attend the monthly board meetings which are usually held on a Monday from 5.30pm to approximately 8pm\, including dinner. \nAny student enrolled at BDSC as of today will be eligible to stand. A list of enrolled (eligible) students will be available for viewing in the SLT Office Lobby. \nPlease see the Student Representative Handbook for more information about this role. \nPlease note that candidates will be required to provide a written statement (max of 250 words) and may also be asked to address college assembly before voting takes place. \nYou may nominate yourself. Follow this link for Nomination forms. Completed applications should be emailed to s.madden@bdsc.school.nz before noon on Wednesday 13 August. \nVoting will take place on Friday 29 August 2025. \nA list of candidates will be put up on the SLT office lobby door and on reception’s noticeboard as they are received.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
