DESCRIPTION:Monday 2 March 2020 is a mufti-day in support of Enviroschools. \nPlease ensure students bring a $2 Gold Coin(s) for this\, and the coins will be collected Period 2. \nThe º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ mufti dress code applies. That is: \n\nClothing\, although casual\, must be appropriate for a college environment;\nNo slogans referring to smoking\, alcohol and drugs\, any sexual or inappropriate connotations;\nThe mid-section of the body is to be covered and any student wearing a skirt or shorts deemed inappropriate will be required to wear one provided by the º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ (all skirts and shorts should be at least mid-thigh in length i.e. no midi/mini-skirts or short shorts);\nFootwear is to be smart/ casual.  School shoes will be issued to students who wear inappropriate footwear.  Suitable footwear\, i.e. enclosed shoes must be worn for practical classes (Health & PE\, Science and Technology).\nThe normal standards of hair colour apply so please do not colour your hair for the day;\nDo not bring any props or costumes\, as they may be inappropriate or be a distraction to learning in the classroom.

DESCRIPTION:Enviroschools: Picking up pieces of plastic to prevent marine pollution \nPicking up plastic rubbish in the local Botany area \nStudents will need to meet at BDSC (outside Britten whanau) by 9.15am so that we can disperse by 9.30 to begin picking up plastic. This will be done in groups lead by senior Enviroschools students with staff supervision. We aim to be finished by about 10.30am.

SUMMARY:School Production Audition
DESCRIPTION:Come and audition for this year’s school production \nThe Orphan of Zhao\n \nSometimes referred to as the Chinese Hamlet and tracing its origins to the 4th century BC\, The Orphan of Zhao was the first Chinese play to be translated in the West. \nThis adaptation of The Orphan of Zhao was written by James Fenton. \nThe courtier Tu’an Gu kills Zhao Dun\, who stands in his way\, and arranges for his whole clan to be put to death. \nBut Zhao Dun’s infant son survives under a different identity and is adopted by Tu’an Gu as his son. But the Orphan of Zhao will inevitably find out the truth about his identity and avenge his father’s death. \nAuditions will be held on Thursday 26 March at 3:40 pm\nCall backs will be held on Friday 27 March at 3:40 pm\n \nYou need to come prepared for the audition. This means you must learn the script extract which will be supplied in the PAC and ONLINE (see Cocurricular drama pages office365). If you want a part you need to prepare for that by learning the script for the audition. You must come in appropriate neutral clothing with your hair tied up and out of your face. You should also be prepared to try things out and you should know a song that can be sung unaccompanied. \nCast list will be out on Saturday 28 March \nOur first production meeting will be Monday 30 March at 3:40 pm to hand out scripts and read through the play.
