DESCRIPTION:A whole school event held on school grounds and nearby streets. Compulsory for Years 9-11. \nCross country counts towards the Whanau Shield and points are gained dependent on your finishing position. \n\nThe sequence of events is as follows:\nJunior age group is 12-13 years old on 1 Jan 2020\nStudents in the Junior age group will change into full Health and PE Uniform during Interval in preparation of their event in Period 3; Students must bring their school uniform to school and change into school uniform following the completion of their event; Junior girls run 3 km and boys run 4 km. \nIntermediate age group 14-15 years old on 1 Jan 2020\nIntermediates will come to school in full Health and PE Uniform in preparation for the event in Period 2; Intermediate boys and girls run 4 km. \nSenior age group 16+ years old on 1 Jan 2020\nOptional for students\, however\, we expect our top teams to run. Seniors will change into full Health and PE uniform during Interval in preparation for their event in Period 4. Girls run 4 km and boys run 6 km. \nRemember…\n\nCorrect BDSC PE uniform or Whanau coloured top and PE shorts or sport appropriate shorts if senior students no longer own the PE short.\nStudents should wear trainers or covered shoes!
