On Friday 17 May, 40 BDSC students (along with two teachers, seven Fisher & Paykel staff and two university volunteers) journeyed to Clevedon for the annual Trees for Survival Day. On Thursday 23 May 15 students from BDSC had the privilege of attending the Young Free & Pacific event, a significant gathering for young Pasifika students in Years 11-13. This year marked the 10th Anniversary of the event, which began in 2014. It was a remarkable opportunity to delve deeper into our cultural roots and to find connections across the Pacific Ocean, which unites us as one large community. MORE

Two BDSC teams took part in the Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) event at Rosmini 含羞草传媒 event recently. The Rotary-sponsored event attracted over 100 schools from the Auckland and Northland regions. It provided delegates with a hands-on insight into the workings of the United Nations.MORE

Another year, another music camp: Music Camp 2024. Students from Years 9-13 gathered on a Sunday morning eager to get on the bus and head off to the three day trip to Campbell Park in Mangawhai Heads.MORE

BDSC competed in the Performing Arts Competition, ShowQuest 2022, held at the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre/Aotea Theatre.MORE

A global student competition where young people across the world learn about AI (artificial intelligence) and then invent AI ideas that could make a difference.
