Auckland Secondary Schools Maori & Pacific Islands Cultural Festival

The ASB Polyfest festival features traditional music, dance, costume and cultural speech competitions, and is one of the most recognised events on the Auckland calendar. It鈥檚 a showcase of New Zealand鈥檚 diverse cultures and a celebration of youth performance.

Students traditionally compete on six stages, performing traditional items from the following cultures 鈥� Cook Islands, M膩ori, Niue, Samoa, Tonga and Diversity stage featuring performances from a range of cultural groups including Fijian, Tokelau, Chinese, Korean and Indian.

BDSC students will be performing on the Diversity Stage, If you would like to support our students and watch their performances, we warmly invite you to attend.
Performance Schedule:

• 3.20 pm – Indian Dance Group
• 3.40 pm – Chinese Dance Group
• 3.50 pm – Punjabi Dance Group
• 4.00 pm – Lion Dance Group
