2025 Picnic Day

As usual Picnic Day was a lot of fun and it was great to see staff and students alike getting in to the spirit of the day. We had almost perfect conditions, not too hot and a bit of cloud cover. Lots of energy was out there on the field with everyone giving it their best shot in the classic Picnic Day games such as the Sack Race, Egg and Spoon race, Sponge Relay and Cornhole. MORE

2025 Dragons’ Den Challenge

Our Year 10 Business Pathways students recently completed an exciting Dragons' Den challenge that transformed them into real entrepreneurs. Throughout the term, teams of students developed original business ideas from scratch—conducting genuine market research, creating comprehensive business plans, and delivering five-minute pitches before teacher "dragons" and their peers.MORE

2025 Waitomo Field Trip

The weather gods were kind. Forecast heavy rain, thunder and lightning held off until the investigative geographers were on the bus and on their way home from a two-day overnight field trip to the Waitomo Region earlier this month.MORE

Meet the Challenge 2025

The culmination of the Level 1 Geography course is “Meet the Challenge”, an assessment where students are presented with a problem-solving situation related to a real-life global challenge. This requires the application of much of the work done earlier in the year as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.MORE
